The Denver Broncos gave the defending champions a game for almost two quarters, but in the end they were no match for Aaron Rodgers and Co. The Packers improved their record to 4-0 and they have made it clear so far that they are the best team in the NFL through the quarter pole.
After the Packers took a 7 to 3 lead Charles Woodson was able to pick off a Kyle Orton pass intended to Eric Decker, and returned it for a touchdown. The Packers never looked back, with Rodgers throwing for a career high 408 yards and four touchdowns. Green Bay put up 507 yards of total offense in this game, making a mockery out of the Denver defense.
The Packers sit atop the NFC North alongside the 4-0 Detroit Lions. Green Bay travels to Hotlanta next week in a Divisional Playoff game rematch from last year. The Falcons should be a stronger opponent than the Broncos, but at this point it does not look like anyone stacks up against the Pack.
