Anthony Hargrove played his 2011 season with the Seattle Seahawks, but prior to that, he played with the Saints for two season which is where he was allegedly involved with the “pay to injure” scheme called bountygate. Hargrove’s involvement in bountygate may have not only cost him an eight game suspension, but it may have also been the reason why the Packers have made the decision to cut ties with him only months after signing him as a Free Agent. This now makes Anthony Hargrove a free agent, giving him the opportunity to sign with any other team, but it’s unlikely that any team will be willing to use a roster spot on him while he serves his eight game suspension.

The Green Bay Packers also announced that they cut WR Andrew Brewer, S Micah Pellerin, T Herb Taylor and CB Dion Turner.
