As the Green Bay Packers prepare to face the St. Louis Rams tomorrow Oct. 10 there is some glimmer of hope that they may finally win a back to back game this season after a critic shushing 42 – 24 victory over the Houston Texans who played their first game without star linebacker and defensive captain Brian Cushing to a torn ACL . Some critics could credit the Packers’ impressive win last Sunday to the absence of Cushing but there is no doubt the Packers put on a performance worthy of victory with running back Alex Green who had 22 carries and rushed 22 times for 65 yards. Green filled in for Cedric Benson who is out with a foot injury. Coach Mike McCarthy expressed his satisfaction with Green’s performance naming him Packers’ leading running back against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday making this a definite game to watch as they once again get a chance to prove that they are still a team worthy of the much debatable hype.
